This guidebook was intended to explore the use of herbs in food, medicine, and natural dyes, as well as cover some basic homesteading skills like fermentation and soap-making. It was part of a year long project to bring speakers to campus, start an herb garden at the environmental dorm on campus (the Green House), and learn about nutrition and the biology of medicinal plants.
