dc.description.abstract | This study is performed to show the effect of spin on the flight path of a baseball. Forces, such as the Magnus and drag, change the trajectory of any spinning object dramatically. Trajectories are also dependent on atmospheric pressure. Using MATLAB and Excel, a simulation will be used to show the different flight paths based on angular velocities, altitude, and release angles. | en_US |
